Industry upgrade, empower innovation, welcome to Jinshan Titanium's ultra-wide, short process, low cost, EB furnace 2080/2280mm wide coil mass production conference.
The two 12T and 20T EB furnaces owned by Jinshan Titanium are equipped with the first wide-width crystallizer in China, which can be used to produce ultra-wide hot-rolled coils and medium and thick plates, filling the gap in domestic ultra-wide hot-rolled titanium coils. The width of the crystallizer currently in use is 2080mm and 2280mm, and the maximum single ingot weight is 22 tons.
The ultra-wide coil provides strong support for the quality improvement, weld reduction and cost reduction of products such as large-diameter welded pipes for titanium equipment and composite titanium plates. In the second half of 2023, Jinshan Titanium Industry and Hunan Xiangtou Jintian Titanium Metal Co., Ltd. officially signed a 2-meter wide coil batch rolling agreement to solve the industry problem of mass production of 2-meter wide coils. Through continuous efforts and repeated experiments, the stable mass production of wide coils was finally successfully achieved.
