There are two standards for titanium plate:
The national standard is: GB/T3621-2007, GB/T13810-2007,
The American standard is: ASTM B265, ASTM F136, ASTM F67, AMS4928.
Titanium plate manufacturing process
Hot forging is a forging process performed above the metal recrystallization temperature.
Hot rolling is a rolling process performed above the recrystallization temperature.
Cold rolling is a rolling process in which the plastic deformation temperature is lower than the recovery temperature.
Annealing: A metal heat treatment process in which the metal is slowly heated to a certain temperature, kept for a sufficient time, and then cooled at an appropriate speed (usually slow cooling, sometimes controlled cooling).
Pickling: Immersing the workpiece in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid to remove oxides and other films on the metal surface. It is a pre-treatment or intermediate treatment for processes such as electroplating, enamelling, and rolling.
Characteristics of titanium plate
1. The surface oxide film of titanium seed plate is equivalent to a good long-lasting wear-resistant separator. The use of titanium seed plate saves separator, makes it easy to peel off the plate, and eliminates the process of pre-treatment of the seed plate. Titanium seed plate is half lighter than copper seed plate.
2. The service life of titanium seed plate is more than 3 times that of copper seed plate, which can reach 10 to 20 years according to operating conditions.
3. The electrolytic copper made from titanium seed plate has dense crystal structure, smooth surface and excellent quality.
4. Since titanium seed plate does not need to apply separator, it can avoid contamination of copper electrolyte.
5. Increasing production capacity and reducing the production cost of electrolytic copper, thus having better economic benefits.
