Titanium tubes are light in weight, high in strength and have excellent mechanical properties. They are widely used in heat exchange equipment, such as shell-and-tube heat exchangers, coil heat exchangers, serpentine heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators and conveying pipelines.

Titanium tubes implement two national standards according to different use requirements and performance: GB/T3624-1995 GB/T3625-1995.

Supply grades: Gr1,Gr2,Gr5,Gr9,Gr12,Gr23........

Supply specifications: diameter φ4~114mm wall thickness δ0.2~4.5mm length within 15m

Seamless titanium tubes are made by extrusion process, and welded titanium tubes are made by curling and welding of plates. Generally, seamless titanium tubes have a smaller wall thickness and a smaller caliber.

1. Seamless titanium tubes, titanium tubes titanium tube. High strength. Titanium alloy has high strength, its tensile strength is 686-1176MPa, and its density is only about 60% of steel, so its specific strength is very high. 

2. Seamless titanium tube has high hardness. The hardness of titanium alloy (annealed state) is HRC 32-38. 

3. Seamless titanium tube has low elastic modulus. The elastic modulus of titanium alloy (annealed state) is 1.078×10-1.176×10MPa, which is about half of steel and stainless steel. Implementation standard: ASTM B337, ASTM B338, ASTM B338 B861

4. Excellent high and low temperature performance. At high temperatures, titanium alloys can still maintain good mechanical properties. Their heat resistance is much higher than that of aluminum alloys, and their working temperature range is wide. At present, the working temperature of new heat-resistant titanium alloys can reach 550-600℃; at low temperatures, the strength of titanium alloys is increased compared to that at room temperature, and they have good toughness. Low-temperature titanium alloys can still maintain good toughness at -253℃.

5. Seamless titanium tubes have strong corrosion resistance. In air below 550℃, titanium will quickly form a thin and dense titanium oxide film on its surface. Therefore, in oxidizing media such as atmosphere, seawater, nitric acid and sulfuric acid, and strong alkali, its corrosion resistance is better than most stainless steels.
